Ola Electric has launched its third generation Ola S1 Gen 3 electric scooters in India. Special models of new generation
Ola S1 Gen 3 scooters have been completely upgraded. The company claims that the new generation will get 20% more power, longer battery range and great technology at 11% lower prices. This new lineup includes Ola S1 X, Ola S1 X+, Ola S1 Pro and Ola S1 Pro+ (flagship model).
Price and delivery date
The Ola S1 X (2kWh) has been priced at ₹ 79,999, while the Ola S1 X+ (4kWh) is priced at ₹ 1,07,999. The Ola S1 Pro (3kWh) will be available for ₹ 1,14,999 and the Ola S1 Pro+ (4kWh) will be available for ₹ 1,34,999. The company has also confirmed that the deliveries of these scooters will start from mid-February 2025.
Strong performance and long battery range
Ola’s new Ola S1 Gen 3 scooters use mid-drive motor and chain drive technology, which has improved both battery efficiency and power. The new scooters are equipped with an integrated motor control unit (MCU), which helps in increasing acceleration and range. The Ola S1 X+ (4kWh) has a top speed of 125 kmph and can catch 0-40 kmph in just 2.7 seconds. The battery range of this model goes up to 242 km. At the same time, the Ola S1 Pro+ (5.3kWh) has a top speed of 141 kmph and its range can be up to 320 km.
Dual ABS and brake-by-wire technology for safety
The new Ola S1 Gen 3 series has dual ABS and brake-by-wire technology, which improves the braking response even more. This technology helps in recovering up to 15% more braking energy, which also increases the battery efficiency.
New smart features of MoveOS 5 Beta
Ola has also introduced its new MoveOS 5 Beta, which has made the scooters even smarter. This update adds advanced features like smartwatch app connectivity, Smart Park mode, Bharat Mood, Road Trip mode, live location sharing and Emergency SOS.
Battery warranty and discounts on older models
Ola has given a warranty of 3 years / 40,000 km on its Ola S1 Gen 3 scooters. If customers want, they can extend it to 8 years / 1,25,000 km, which will cost an additional ₹ 14,999. Apart from this, the company is offering a discount of up to ₹ 35,000 on its old Gen 2 scooters, making the S1 Pro (Gen 2) now available for ₹ 1,14,999.
