Finally, it’s done! A Maruti Suzuki Dzire car has achieved a five-star safety rating in the Global NCAP picture test. The model that has achieved this feat is the upcoming Dzire. Although Maruti Suzuki cars have always passed the safety regulations applicable in India, they have fared poorly in safety rating assessments conducted by Global NCAP.

The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki , which will be launched in India on November 11, has scored five stars in the adult occupant safety category and four stars in the child occupant safety category by Global NCAP.
Did Maruti say anything about the differences in the structure of Swift vs Dzire. If not, is it fair to assume that Swift is also going to score well in safety ratings? Also, is Dzire still essentially an elongated Swift? I remember it was called Swift Dzire long back and it came into existence as a compact sedan all because of the 4 meter rule.

The new Dzire comes with features like LED Crystal Vision headlamps with LED DRLs, LED rear combination lamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, boot lid spoiler, 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Arkamys Surround Sense, 360-degree camera, automatic AC, cruise control, electric sunroof, rear AC vents, rear armrest and Suzuki Connect.
